About The Physically Challenged Irish and American Youth Team

The Irish and American Youth Team ("The Team") is a 501(c) (3) charity whose mission is to help physically challenged children build self esteem, confidence and career development through competitive sporting activities, educational development and cultural exchange programs. The Team was founded in 1987 to foster closer ties between the U.S. and Ireland by recognizing and helping provide for the special needs each country's physically challenged children require. The Charity has headquarters in New York City with Directors in the United States and in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Team's Web site is www.pcirishteam.org
